Who We Are
The Emirates Tourism Media Association (ETMA) is a national professional organization dedicated to advancing tourism media in the United Arab Emirates. The Association promotes the role of tourism media in supporting the country's tourism sector and showcasing the UAE's cultural, historical, and natural attractions through strategic partnerships with government entities, private organizations, and media institutions.
ETMA also empowers journalists, media professionals, content creators, researchers, and tourism communicators by fostering innovation, collaboration, and professional excellence to strengthen the UAE's global tourism image.
ETMA was established under Ministerial Resolution No. 41 of 2025 issued by the Ministry of Community Empowerment, and is licensed by the Department of Community Development – Abu Dhabi under license number NPO-A-M-100.

To be a leading national platform that brings together media and tourism, and contributes to positioning the United Arab Emirates as a global model for innovative and sustainable tourism media.
Mission
To strengthen the role of tourism media in advancing national tourism by building a professional community of media practitioners and creative professionals, and by developing tourism media content that supports sustainable development in the UAE.
